Spectral peculiarities of the stimulated brillouin scattering at the wave-front reversal
Abstract
The behavior of the SBS integral spectral linewidth has been studied experimentally within the laser pulse duration while SBS was excited, both under wavefront reversal and without it. The revealed anomalous SBS spectrum broadening is explained by the phase modulation of SBS pulses and of the exciting radiation due to heat absorption.
