Turbulenzen im neutralen Interstellaren Medium
Abstract
The Westerbork aperture-synthesis telescope has been used to investigate the power spectrum of neutral hydrogen in the local interstellar medium, at a distance of about 500 pc. The corresponding power spectrum of the brightness distribution is obtained and found to be consistent with the spectral index determined by Braunsfurth (1975). It can be described by a standard power law in the range of accessible scale lengths. The dependence of the brightness distribution of the 21 cm spectral line on radial velocity is obtained and discussed.
