Vocoder communications
Abstract
Theories of speech formation, speech articulation and perception, and the development of speech signals in speech compression and in signal limitation in dynamic and frequency ranges are studied. Several methods of analysis and synthesis of speech vibration sources involving fundamental tone and tone-noise signal separation, and signal excitation formation are discussed. The effective coding of vocoder signals through spectral-band and formant methods is considered. Homomorphic analysis and the linear prediction method are presented in a review of orthogonal and spectral-time methods. Classical speech element methods, which account for subjective features of the written language and pronunciation, are considered along with methods of phoneme analysis and synthesis.
