Stable oscillators with SAW filters
Abstract
The current status of research on stable SAW oscillators is reviewed, and the basic principles underlying the operation of the components (SAW resonators and delay lines) of these oscillators are examined. A theory of self-oscillatory processes in such devices is developed, and questions pertaining to stability, synchronization, and multifrequency modes of operation are discussed. Recommendations on increasing the frequency stability of such oscillators are presented.
