Perturbation theory in space geodesy
Abstract
Questions concerning satellite staging orbits are discussed, with consideration given to classical and modern methods of expanding coordinates and their functions in elliptical and hyperbolic motion. Equations of perturbed motion are presented in various forms. A description is given of classical and modern approximation methods for the analytical and numerical integration of the equations of perturbed motion.
