A class of exact solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations - Plane unsteady flow
Abstract
A class of exact solutions for a plane unsteady flow having a nonuniform vorticity field is indicated for a Navier-Stokes fluid. The velocity field of the flow is derived from analytic functions which are the solutions of a biharmonic equation established for the flow.
