Numerical computation of an important integral function in two-dimensional radiative transfer.
Abstract
Analytical properties, series expansions and asymptotic expansions are generated for Sn(x) which are important integral functions in the analysis of two-dimensional radiative transfer. These functions are shown to be Fourier transform of the generalized exponential integral function. Table of values of S1(x), S2(x), and S3(x) are presented.
