Mathematical model of structure phenomena in magnetic fluids
Abstract
The mathematical model describing the behaviour of magnetic fluids with internal structure in a magnetic field is constructed by the methods of irreversible thermodynamics. Microscopic particles of magnetic fluids are supposed to be joined in chains by magnetic interaction. The internal energy of the magnetic fluid with chains is considered and equations of state are found. The tangential stress on the plates with the magnetic fluid between is calculated.
