Analysis of strip-line circuit by planar circuit approach Application of higher-mode impedance concept
Abstract
A planar transmission line circuit model is presented whose analytical method is obtained by means of circuit equations and mode impedances. The model is decomposed into transmission line and junction circuit parts, and the mode impedance for each circuit is derived. This method is applied to a simple strip line circuit, and the application of this method to nonnegligible electromagnetic disturbance at a high frequency transmission line junction is also demonstrated. Calculation results are found to agree with measurements.
