Refinement of the limiting relative friction law for a permeable plate with gas injection
Abstract
An analysis has been carried out with the objective of refining the expressions describing the effect of the finite nature of Reynolds numbers on the critical injection parameters in a turbulent incompressible boundary gas layer. By comparing analytical results with experimental data, it is shown that allowing for the finiteness of Reynolds numbers to a second approximation gives satisfactory results with respect to both the injection parameters and relative friction coefficients.
