On the current distribution for open surfaces
Abstract
The solution of electric and magnetic field type integral equations is investigated for a simple open surface, i.e., a thin plate. By combining the eletric and magnetic field formulations, a set of coupled integral equations is obtained which can be solved for the currents on either side of the plate. Numerical results illustrate these currents for different size plates.
