Progress report on the Utah Fly's Eye.
Abstract
The Utah Fly's Eye is currently operating with two stations separated by a distance of 3.4 km. Fly's Eye I consists of 67 1.6-m mirrors and 880 photomultiplier tubes; it has a solid angle coverage of 99 percent of 2pi steradians. Fly's Eye II, with 2 mirrors and 112 photomultiplier tubes, operates in the coincidence mode with Fly's Eye I. The physical parameters of both stations are presented, and some planned modifications are discussed.
