Investigation of the aerodynamics and heat transfer of a swirled wall turbulent jet in a cylindrical channel
Abstract
The aerodynamics and heat transfer in a cylindrical channel in the presence of a swirled wall jet are studied experimentally. The main trends in the development of the jet with inlet air ejection are revealed as well as the effect of the maximum velocity distribution on the swirled wall jet width. The jet aerodynamics are analyzed using the conservation equations of the moment of momentum and pulse flux and taking into account the similarity theory methods.
