Transient heat transfer to a particle moving at variable velocity in an ideal fluid
Abstract
The paper is concerned with the time behavior of transient convective heat transfer to a spherical particle moving in a straight line with arbitrarily varying velocity in an ideal liquid. The expressions for local and total heat fluxes on the surface of that sphere are derived in the approximation of the thermal boundary layer.
