Theory of radiation from a system of noninteracting charges moving in a constant uniform magnetic field in vacuum
Abstract
The present study examines the generation of coherent electromagnetic radiation from a system of noninteracting charges moving spirally in a constant uniform magnetic field in vacuum. An expression is obtained for the spectral-angular distribution of the radiation power of a strictly periodic system of noninteracting charges. A coherence factor is determined which makes it possible to investigate the spectral and spectral-angular distributions of radiation power and to determine frequencies at which radiation is absent.
