Low insertion-loss, temperature-compensated dielectric filters for microwave integrated circuits
Abstract
Designs for several microstrip dielectric filters which use temperature compensated resonators are examined. By determining the various contributions to the insertion loss, it is found that resonator-resonator coupling losses are about a factor of two times the microstrip-resonator coupling losses. Balanced and unbalanced couplings are studied and the effect of temperature is also determined.
