Factorization method for calculating the three-dimensional flows of a viscous compressible gas
Abstract
An unconditionally stable finite-difference scheme is developed for solving the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations for a compressible gas. As an example, the scheme is applied to the analysis of the three-dimensional flow in the region of interaction between a transverse transonic jet and a supersonic flow.
