The use of turning disk electrode
Abstract
Comparisons are made between the actual performances of turning disk electrodes and the predicted performances using numerical models. The Sherwood number is defined for calculating the mass transfer toward the surface of an electrode in terms of the Re of the flow. An error correction is then formulated to adjust the predicted velocity fields in order to bring them into line with measured velocity fields.
