A new look at BE Ursae Majoris.
Abstract
The radial velocity and light curve of BE UMa have been studied to determine the physical parameters of the stellar components. The authors find that the primary is a very hot subdwarf which has a large heating effect on a cool secondary, whose magnitude and radius both indicate that it is an evolved subgiant.
