Dynamical relations between the pressure fluctuations and the velocity field in turbulent flow at small Mach numbers
Abstract
A functional relation between the pressure and velocity fluctuations in turbulent flow of an incompressible fluid is given with allowance for fluctuations of the friction at a rigid boundary. The spatial pressurefluctuation spectra associated with the linear and nonlinear terms of the equations of motion are calculated for the case of a model flow.
