Optical spectroscopy of flat spectrum radio sources.
Abstract
From optical spectra of 12 flat spectrum radio sources the authors identify 5 quasars, 5 BL Lac objects, and 2 galaxies with high redshift (z ≈ 0.17). Two of the quasars show strong Fe II emission in their spectra.
