Computation of chemically reacting flows
Abstract
A program system was developed to compute two-dimensional chemically reacting free jet flow. A calculation mesh which is invariant in time is introduced. The flow equations are transformed by the lambda scheme into the mesh for integration. The shock wave is treated by the shock-fitting method. The boundary conditions are taken into account by the post correction method. Velocity, pressure, temperature, and entropy distributions of the reacting mixture components in the flow field are calculated.
