Recent spectroscopic and laser relevant investigations
Abstract
Spectroscopic and laser relevant investigations comprising three main topics are summarized. The topics discussed are: (1) study of the luminescence arising from the interaction of ions with atoms and molecules, and of atoms sputtered from a solid target; (2) combined mass spectrometric and light spectroscopic space resolved studies of the excitation of radiative levels of various charge states in a hollow cathode discharge operated in a variety of discharge gases and mixtures; and (3) study of the influence of the addition of foreign atoms and molecules on the characteristics of He-Ne laser.
