A digital ferrite phase-shifter for high power S-band operation
Abstract
A nonreciprocal digital phase shifter in a rectangular waveguide was developed. Insertion loss for negative and positive polarization is 0.74 and 0.52 average, respectively, with rms deviation = 0.03. Differential phase shifts of five bits at saturation indicate good reproducibility of ferrite reactive parameters. Insertion phase and asymmetry are satisfactory.
