Operational follow-up of telecommunication equipment by sampling, using the SADE system
Abstract
Contrary to an exhaustive follow-up which requires recall to judge the quality of materials, sampling permits knowledge of the rate of being out of order and the nature of the faults affecting the materials. Sampling using the system for analyzing defects during operation is considered as a means of determining the quality and reliability of telecommunication materials to be installed in hundereds of thousands of prototypes, such as subscriber terminals. Forms used for recording and reporting repairs are discussed.
