Pulse circuits
Abstract
The design of conventional and integrated solid-state pulse circuits is examined analytically in a textbook. The fundamental principles of pulse shaping by linear circuits are introduced, and chapters are devoted to switches, limiting and clamping circuits, logic gates, bistable circuits, multivibrators, blocking oscillators, ramp generators, relaxation-oscillator synchronization and pulse frequency division, sawtooth-current generation, negative-resistance pulse circuits, and functional pulse and digital circuits. Circuit diagrams, output functions, and review questions and problems are provided.
