TDMA site diversity switching experiments with Japanese CS
Abstract
A site diversity switching experiment system for the satellite-earth link of PCM/PSK/TDMA is introduced. Valuable results obtained in the satellite experiments with CS are presented. Investigations on measuring time of signal quality for minimizing the prediction error are made in point of Allan variance of Bit Error Rate (BER). Furthermore, it is clarified that if the variance of BER due to the spin modulation dominates that due to system noise, the measuring time of signal quality should be analyzed in point of the switching error rate.
