Track-while-scan quiet radar
Abstract
Attention is given to the U.S. Army Missile Research Laboratory's recent deelopment of a missile system radar whose signal is unobtrusively quiet in the battlefield electromagnetic spectrum. A prototype has been built, and is currently undergoing field tests at the U.S. Army Missile Command. Attention is presently given to the radar's antenna, exciter, transmitter, receiver, signal processor, data processor, display and keyboard, and software.
