The design, development and application of advanced video and microcomputer-based command and control (C2) systems
Abstract
Videodisc systems vary in capability but most are applicable to Command and Control requirements especially training and data retrieval. A professional non-broadcast video system can be configured at a cost less than $75K. The Hand-Held Computer has applications for DoD but not without certain reservations. A low-cost, off-the-shelf package may be assembled to build an electronic notepad.
