Calculation of the amplification rates of a three-dimensional Tollmien-Schlichting wave in the boundary layer of an incompressible fluid
Abstract
The development of a three-dimensional Tollmien-Schlichting wave in an incompressible boundary layer on a flat plate is analyzed with allowance for a weak inhomogeneity of the main flow in the case when disturbances propagate at an angle to this flow. The amplification rates are calculated numerically.
