The effect of displacing the center of a protective sphere on the oscillations of a body acted upon by Lorentz forces under conditions of resonance
Abstract
The rotational motion of a triaxially oriented body in a gravitational field when disturbed by the moment of Lorentz forces arising in response to the motion of the charged surface of the body in the earth's magnetic field is considered. The method of averaging is used in investigating the resonance oscillations of a body in an orbital system given a displacement of the center of the charged surface relative to the body's center of mass.
