Analysis of the behavior of some types of synchronizer for numerical radio links in the presence of atmospheric multipath transmission
Abstract
An analog synchronizer with a squaring device and a digital synchronizer capable of operating at a high transmission rate are compared. The test results show that in the presence of severe selective fading the analog device is better even if the time jitter is higher.
