Investigation of encryptation for satellite communications
Abstract
Data acquisition with satellite-borne photography is outlined; encoding and decoding methods are discussed. Encoding tests of image data are presented. It is shown that block encoding is not a suitable encryption form, but methods using common keys (e.g. addition coding) which give a high safety degree are acceptable. Trends in the development of electronics, encryption, and image processing are discussed.
