Insolation of a data collecting satellite from the point of view of orbital geometry for optimization of energy conservation
Abstract
The insolation of a satellite which utilizes solar energy in supplying energy to the on-board systems was investigated. The effect of the orbital geometry and insolation on conditions for determining the launch window is determined. A typical data collection satellite with predefined orbital geometry was considered.
