Integrated systems of automatic radio equipment
Abstract
Integrated radio engineering servo systems having non-radiotechnical meters are examined. The characteristics of the most commonly used meters are described, and the integration of separate meters into the system discussed. The uses of gain in accuracy and freedom from interference are considered and some quantitative estimates of gain are presented. Integrated navigation aids and the measurement of angular coordinates, range, and speed are discussed. Results of experimental investigations making possible the evaluation of integrated systems in comparison with nonintegrated systems are presented.
