Vibration effects in bodies containing a gas-liquid medium
Abstract
The dynamic behavior and stability of gas bubbles and their local accumulations in homogeneous and two-layer liquids under vibration are investigated theoretically and experimentally. It is shown that the vibration of the flexible bottom of a cylindrical vessel, the vibration of the free surface and of the liquid interface, as well as the interaction of the gas-liquid system with the container and the vibration source have a significant effect on the various motions of such systems.
