An analysis of the efficiency of a noise self-compensator with correlation feedback with respect to the suppression coefficient
Abstract
It is known that the detection of signals reflected from moving objects on a background of passive interference can be effected with the aid of devices comprising cascade-combining units for interference whitening and signal accumulation. Since whitening is a complex procedure requiring a vast array of equipment, it is often replaced by a procedure for the rejection (compensation) of the interference. In many studies on the compensation of passive interference, that is, reflections from elongate objects, algorithms using correlation feedback have been proposed. It is shown here that devices operating according to these algorithms ensure that the interference at their output is of minimum intensity.
