Space-polarization matched reception of radio signals
Abstract
A procedure is presented for forming the weight-coefficient vector of a receiving antenna system consisting of elements arbitrarily oriented in space. Nonlinear Markov filtering theory is used to synthesize an algorithm for the simultaneous estimation of the space and polarization parameters of radio signals. The influence of estimation errors on the quality of reception is analyzed.
