An electrodynamic analysis of a vibrator having a feed line
Abstract
The adverse effect that a feed line activating an antenna has on antenna characteristics is discussed, noting that the interference is more pronounced when an inphase wave, together with an antiphase wave, can exist in the feed. A symmetrical electrical vibrator positioned horizontally over an infinite conducting screen and excited by a symmetric, two-wire line is considered. The results of the study make it possible, on the basis of a given level of parasitic radiation, to determine the constraints on the parameters of the two-wire feed line.
