Method for estimating the dynamic accuracy of a digital filter with constant parameters
Abstract
A state-space method is developed for estimating the dynamic accuracy of a digital filter with constant parameters. This method dispenses with the determination of discrete transfer functions, and makes it possible to perform engineering calculations for low orders of the filter. The algorithm for computing the error matrices is easy to implement on a computer, which makes it possible to avoid cumbersome computations for high orders of the filter.
