Maximum accuracy of the combined estimation of coordinates and their derivatives for a fluctuating target
Abstract
A correlation matrix is obtained for the analysis of the maximum accuracy of the estimation of coordinates and their derivatives for a fluctuating target for space-time processing in the general case, including the location of the target in the far field and in the Fresnel zone of the receiving antenna. These formulas are applicable to signal reception by antennas of practically any dimensionality and can be used to analyze discrete antennas under certain conditions of integration. The effect of target fluctuations on the accuracy of the estimation method is examined.
