An electrical network for modeling charge-coupled devices
Abstract
The proposed network models change in charge beneath the transfer electrodes (of which there are two) and beneath the gaps between them, making it possible to account for diffusion, self-induced drift, and drift caused by the difference of potentials on the transfer electrodes. Compared to other modeling networks, the proposed scheme has the advantage that the parameters of the steady state regime are the same regardless of the number of network elements. This feature makes it possible to reduce the time of computer analysis of CCDs.
