The noise immunity of reception of PSK signals in a channel with gamma fadings
Abstract
It is shown that the 'depth' of gamma fadings is greater, the smaller the eta parameter of the gamma distribution. In order to determine the channel's 'coefficient of correct action' (defined as the probability that the error probability does not exceed a certain allowable value in the course of a session) it is necessary to determine beforehand the lambda and eta parameters of the gamma distribution, which describes the real situation in the channel.
