Diffraction of twodimensional Gaussian beams by a reflecting grating consisting of rectangular rods
Abstract
An algorithm is developed for the numerical analysis of the diffraction of a twodimensional Gaussian electromagnetic beam by a reflecting grating consisting of rectangular rods, given an arbitrary relationship between its period and the wavelength. The form of the radiation pattern and the value of the transmission coefficient are examined in relation to the geometric dimensions of the structure and the parameters of the Gaussian beam.
