Stochastization and destochastization of oscillations in nonautonomous multimode self-oscillatory systems
Abstract
The paper examines the nonautonomous operation of a TWT oscillator with broadband delayed feedback, as well as the operation of this device with two feedback loops, narrow-band and broadband. It is shown that, in the presence of broadband feedback, an external harmonic signal can be used to control the excitation and interaction of oscillations of individual modes of the oscillator; this results in the achievement of multifrequency and stochastic regimes in the case of single-frequency autonomous oscillations, and in the achievement of a single-frequency regime in the case of stochastic autonomous oscillations. Attention is also given to the case when the role of the external signal which controls the development of stochasticity is played by self-oscillations whose excitation is conditioned by the narrow-band feedback.
