Detection and reception of complex signals masked by noise and lumped interference
Abstract
The paper examines the analysis and synthesis of nonlinear systems for the detection and filtering of complex signals on a background of noise and non-Gaussian band-lumped interference. A frequency-time representation of the input process is used in the analysis, and the structure, implementation, noise immunity, and operational features of optimal and quasi-optimal receiver designs are examined. It is concluded that the present study makes it possible to evaluate the possibilities of the nonlinear filtering of complex signals in predetector processing channels.
