Method for the analysis of the steadystate operation of a microwave transistor oscillator
Abstract
Three nonlinear equations are obtained whose solution makes it possible to determine the amplitude and frequency of steady oscillations of a microwave transistor oscillator. Consideration is given to the effects of emitter selfbias, and the nonlinear conductance and capacitance of the emitter and collector junctions, represented in the form of arbitrary voltampere and voltfarad characteristics. Computer calculations of the load dependence of output power are compared with experimental data for a frequency of 3 GHz.
