Reception of optical radiation, modulated at 10 GHz using heterodyning in a photoelectron multiplier
Abstract
Heterodyning in a photoelectron multiplier with a control grid is used to realize reception of optical radiation, modulated at a frequency of 10 GHz. The dependence of signal amplitude on the power of the heterodyne shows that at a heterodyne power of 2 volts, the output signal reaches its maximum value.
