Nonlinear saturation spectra of electric fields and density fluctuations in drift wave turbulence
Abstract
Electric field and plasma density fluctuations have been observed in the range 0.2⩽k⊥ ρ⩽15 in association with a long wavelength naturally occurring plasma instability. The observed spectral form and amplitude of the waves is in excellent agreement with predictions for drift waves.
