Parametric relationships for estimating the characteristics of the active medium of a CO-GDL
Abstract
Data from a numerical experiment are used to establish parametric relationships for the basic characteristics of the active medium of a CO gasdynamic laser. The maximum gain of this medium and the distance at which it is attained are determined by two input parameters of the system: the frozen vibrational energy of CO and the translational temperature of the gas in the cavity.
